My Reflection
Today during English lesson I went to the computer lab with the rest of the grade 3 students and I learnt how to upload a calendar and a clock onto my blog.
English lessons are much more interesting than before because we are able to work on our blogs.

THE FAMOUS FIVE - FIVE ON A TREASURE ISLAND
SUMMARY OF CHAPTER 9
In chapter 9, when the children woke up in the morning, they took the box that they had found the day before into the tool shed.
The children were very excited about opening it, they couldn’t wait to see what was inside! After trying many different things to get the box open, the children decide to throw the box from the top of the house because nothing else was working.
Unfortunately when the box hit the ground uncle Quentin heard the crash and came out from his study. Uncle Quentin took the box away from the children when he found out that it had come from the wreck, he put it on his desk in his study.
The children were very angry and decided to make a plan to get the box back. They decide that Julian should sneak in while uncle Quentin is having a sleep in his study and take the box from his desk.
The plan worked and the children raced away to look inside the box. When they opened it all that was inside was a book with a black cover, that turned out to be a diary that belonged to George’s great-great-great grandfather, and some old
papers.
The children were sad that there was no gold inside, but as George read the papers she realized one of them was a map of Kirrin Island!
The children couldn’t believe what they saw on the map, written there was the word INGOTS!
They decide to trace the map and then put the real one back in the box. Somehow they have to put the box back in uncle Quentin’s study before he knows that its missing.
Julian gets a chance to return it while they are having dinner as uncle Quentin is at the table with them and he hasn’t even realized the box is missing yet.
Julian makes an excuse to leave the table and races into the study and puts the box back where he took it from.

My Reflection about E-books
I was very excited when we were able to read a chapter book. I have wanted to read a chapter book for a long time because I want to learn more words. I like to read normal books but I love reading E-books because I don’t have to waste any paper and with an E-book on the computer I can zoom in on the text, not like with normal books where the small writing is sometimes hard to see. I learnt that a book and E-books are different but an E-book is more fun to read because I can use my computer.
